Cherry (Prunus avium), Rosaceae (Rosegill) family naturally found in the South Caucasus, Caspian Sea and Northeast Anatolia. This tree, which can be dated to about 15 m, has a pyramidal crown, long egg-shaped and toothed leaves and several white flowers forming a cluster together. The spherical or heart shaped fruiting with an average of 2 cm in diameter is thin crusted, sweet juicy and single-nucleated.
